It's the best of times; it's the worst of times
Topic: An oxymoron
"If you hear me complaining about anything, tell me to shut up." That's what I told my hubby on today after looking at the aftermath of hurricane Katrina on TV. Some would say these are "acts of God." I beg to differ. My God came so that we could have the abundant life. It's the devil who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. My heart and prayers go out to the people in the devastated areas. It's the worst of times. I've registered my blog in an effort to aid in the relief of victims affected by Hurricane Katrina. However, I'm excited about the happenings in my own life. Since returning home from MegaFest, God impressed in my heart...and confirmed His word...my enrollment in the 2-year ministerial training school within my local church. With some coaching and ridding myself of some excuses,I accepted my Master's call. Whatever happens over the next 2-years, I'm trusting him to take me through one day at a time. It's all for His glory. It's the best of times. 2005 is my year of OVERFLOW, and my latter end will be more glorious than my beginning.
