Maxx and I had a pleasant walk today. Lately, I have found myself trying to tune out the many chaotic voices of the T.V. especially the 24-hour news channels like CNN and MSNBC. Walking renews my mind and my spirit. Walking helps me to turn off the voices of the world around me, and tune inwardly and listen to the voice of the Word of God. I rejoice in the truth of God's Word and not in the lies and mischief emanating from satanic forces in the world. There are so many reasons to be concerned and yet prayerful about the economical and financial crises. However, if we find ourselves worrying and fearing about them, we are not standing in faith on the promises of the Word of God. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. "For all the promises of God in Him are "yea" (that's yes) and in Him "Amen" (so be it) unto the Glory of God by us" (2 Cor. 1:20). It is finished!
