Celebrate Life!
Mood:
special
Topic: It's Your Time...
In Ecclesiastes 7:1, it reads, A good name is better than precious ointment: and the day of death than the day of one's birth.
Life? What is life? How would you define life? Life is but a vapor that vanishes. Life is a dash. It's the dash of life that we live here on earth centered between two dates: The day of our birth and the day of our death.
If you are reading this, I've got good news for you! There is no date to the right of the dash of your birthday. This is your time to embrace and celebrate your life.
Birthdays are times for celebration of life! Many have celebrated your birthday for this year; while others will celebrate their birthdays within the coming days. What are you doing with your life right now? The fact that you are still here on planet earth says, "You still have purpose and destiny to fulfill."
Who told you that you were too young or too old? Who told you that you were too poor or too rich? So what if you are too tall or too short? What does too little or too much education means? Who is looking at your gender, race, or marital status? They mean nothing.
God know who we are. He knows our flaws and imperfections, yet in Him we are perfect. He knows our strengths and weaknesses, yet He still loves us and desires to use us where we are.
Today, I encourage you to “give thanks” to God “in everything.” The scripture tells us, “In everything to give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Take the time to embrace and celebrate your life by giving it away to serve others. When we take our minds off of ourselves and focus our attention on helping others, God takes care of our concerns. Let's remember to cast ALL our cares upon Him because He does care for us.
Our Heavenly Father is the ultimate and perfect example for us to imitate. As we celebrate His birthday this season, remember He gave His only begotten son (Jesus) so we could have eternal life in Him. Our life is hid with Christ in God.
